NYC artists have executed a remarkable protest installation honouring controversial NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden. The statue of him was quickly covered up, and then removed, by officials but the work itself, and its creation, have been recorded visually and widely shared. At this link, to the publication Animal, the work can be seen through good photographic representations, there is some good writing and discussion in relation to it, and there is also a short documentary featuring the artists, whose identities are obscured. The documentary can also be accessed directly here.
