This commercial provoked considerable negative reaction amongst some Westerners resident in Japan, and further afield, and then some media debate over the reaction. ANA subsequently had the commercial modified to cut off before the last scene of the guy with the fake blonde hair and strap on nose.

What follows is in part a conversation between some comedians and others about the issue, but if you don’t understand Japanese please give no credence to the bizarre and offensive English subtitles. The person posting the material also has added some other material at the end, which suggests some hang-ups!
